FBCH Members at Annual Social

Member firms, as well as the involved family members, will receive valuable benefits though the Family Business Center of Hawaii’s programs, resources, and network.

Extended Programs

Through the extended programs featuring nationally recognized authorities, participants explore solutions to the varied and challenging issues facing family businesses. These programs not only offer insight and counsel of well qualified featured speakers, but also provide opportunities for participants to have direct and personal access to the speakers. In addition, the programs provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas and experiences with members of other family businesses.

The bimonthly lunch meetings provide members the opportunity to interact with each other and exchange information, ideas, and experiences. Each meeting features an educational presentation on practical and relevant information that can be applied to a family enterprise, or an inspiring personal family business story that gives encouragement and insight.

Informational Newsletter

Members will receive newsletters highlighting issues relevant to family businesses and their management, updating them on national issues, and providing suggestions for enhancing both family and business life.

Next Generation Peer Group

The Next Generation Peer Group aims to help next gen-ers transition into leadership roles within their family businesses by exposing them to various issues that may arise. The benefits include in-depth discussions of critical issues in a confidential forum with peer support for personal growth and relationship building with others. The group meets approximately four times a year with the meetings usually on a Wednesday or Thursday from 4 to 6 pm. Light pupus and drinks will be served. There is an additional fee to participate in this program.
