Product Development and Innovation Class Presentations

Please join us for an afternoon of Entrepreneurship. “Product Development and Innovation” is a UH Manoa course, where we take problems from the community (e.g., local businesses, DoD, public sector, or community / non-profit organizations) and our students work to generate a practical solution. As part of the problem solving process the students conduct dozens of interviews with customers, partners, decision makers, and other stakeholders and they develop a solution to the problem.

This Spring Semester (Jan – May 2025), we had 2 FBCH companies participate – Malu Productions and Ben Franklin Crafts. They were each assigned a team of students and they presented their students with a problem they were stuck on. On May 8 the students will be presenting their research and their proposed solutions. FBCH members are invited to attend. We are always looking for more companies to participate, so you can use this presentation as a way to see how our student can help your business.
