Speaker: Mits Kaneshige, former president of Nordic Construction

About the speaker:
Mitsuru Kaneshige, former president of Nordic Construction, acquired the company after leading it in the 1970s. Mitsuru began grooming his son, Glen, for the business from the time Glen was in high school. Upon receiving his master’s degree, Glen returned to the company as project engineer and took over as president in 1999 after holding various managerial positions. In 2008, Nordic Construction was merged with PCL Construction Services.
Mitsuru and Glen served as president of the General Contractors Association of Hawaii in 1973 and 2006, respectively.
