Maui Meeting

“Family business succession—the difficult conversations.”
Speaker: Kent Tsukamoto, managing partner of Accuity LLP

This meeting will be an interactive session. Mr. Tsukamoto will present a case study and lead attendees in role playing activities. Family members are asked to not sit next to each other. An outline of the case study will be emailed prior to the meeting.

About the Speaker:
Kent K. Tsukamoto is the Managing Partner of Accuity LLP, Certified Public Accountants (Accuity), a Hawaii-based firm that is the successor to the Honolulu Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC).  Prior to founding Accuity, he led PwC’s Hawaii practice and was with PwC for over twenty-eight years, four of which were in its Los Angeles Office.  His clients include individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, corporations and not-for-profit organizations.  His practice includes structuring complex business transactions, real estate investment and construction, insurance companies, not-for-profit enterprises, hospitality companies, technology companies, and estate and personal financial planning.
Mr. Tsukamoto received his Bachelors in Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and his Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
